Wednesday, November 08, 2006 ABANDON BLOG!!! i dont have internet connection so what the hell... forget it. althought i really wanna blog. we shall see again. the most recent things that happened would be my work experience programme attachment. all i can say is, THANK YOU MENTORS!!! Especially Lyn. I will miss you all! i had a really fun time. and trust me, it's really really fun. X) sigh. now i have more ppl to miss!!! i miss everyone at recruit international consultants. grah... x( 12:55 AM
Sunday, May 21, 2006 yays. today i went out with the dancers. it was fun. we went far east to look for dance explosion costumes. there were only four of us at first. cos charmaine ng went to watch da vinci code! irritating. so i was there at like 1.30pm?! actual meeting time was at 2.30pm! well the sms got distorted i think, cos my friend told me 1.30pm. but it's okay, i dun blame her. x) so i stoned at orchard mrt for half an hour. i couldnt stand it, so i went wisma's starbucks and got a cup of drink. banana caramel frappicino! it cost me 6 dollars. x( tell me im crazy. cos i know i am. x( but it was nice! and i told maria, and she was like "i like banana!" haha. and she was eating banana crepe at that time. LOL. so i went back to the station and wait. fortunately, chewy came soon after, followed by zhi yun and then kor woong! and zhi yun was still shopping at espirit before that. and then we walked to far east.. we started looking for costumes. we saw this interesting and nice half jacket. it was green and white. haha. nice but yet quite expensive. we could get a discount if we bought it bulk. original price was like $29. but after discount, it will be $24. but the outlet downstairs didnt have the number of stock we want, so the person asked us to go upstairs. the shop was called BUS STOP. it's quite a lian shop. hah.. so we went up and the woman was persuading us to buy it like mad. she kept praising zhi yun that she looked nice in it. cos zhi yun tried it on and was out model to consider. at first we liked it alot. but couldnt decide much cos we have to wait for charmaine to make final decisions. but we more and less sort of confirmed it. but we didnt give the person a confirmed answer! she just assumed that we were definitely getting it.. so we just walked around. we looked for tubes, but it wasnt all that easy. some were too see-through, blah.. and den we reserved like 8 pieces from a shop as a result. we toured missha, the make-up shop. and went around testing! hahah. and we decided to sit down at ljs without buying anything and started calling everyone to tell them about the costume we are most likely getting. and after that we went to this shop called bullet train which has the same stuff as bus stop. we were just looking at the tubes there when the shop attendent came and said, 'do u want to try it with the jacket? i thought u all ordered it' and we were like shocked! we didnt tell them anything okay. it was that lady from the bus stop shop calling all their outlets! and yes, bullet train is just another name but same co. LOL! she called them so that they couldnt give us anymore discount. sheesh. so kiasu lah! den we got out and continued shopping.. finally after a long while of touring far east, charmaine came. we went to the bus stop shop to show charmaine the jacket thing. we were like really trying to consider the various factors of getting the thing. but the lady there was like, buy lah, buy lah. so irritating. so we decided not to get it but didnt know what to say. so we retreated to far away while charmaine went to tell the lady. we peeped from the corner, and the lady showed a pissed face. we decided to back charmaine up cos things didnt look that well. the lady was like clinging to us! she kept trying to persuade. but it was like, the more she egged us, the more we dun want. so yeah, we talked it out and she gave up. phew.. we went to cancel the reserve for the tubes too. cos we realised it was too transparent. haha. den we continued to search for tubes! it wasnt easy, so we decided to go over to bugis where kor woong said there'll be fitting tubes. we went but zhi yun had to go home, so it was only just me, charmaine, kor woong and chewy. at the shop, they said there isnt enough stock. and we were like panicking. we went around edge to find more choices, but they were all not fitting!! they were too loose or just unreliable.. haha. x) halfway through walking, charmaine couldnt stand her heels anymore cos it was too high and painful. so she took off her shoes to walk. chewy and woonie accompanied her. haha. it was funny. den chewy had to go. we went to this fashion to search for cheap tubes, and found seven dollar ones. it was quite okay. so we bought the number of it they have there. and then i went home. cos i had to go home for dinner and i was already like starving. charmaine and woonie went to another this fashion. but were whining because of their shoes. poor thing. wore the wrong shoes for shopping. grah. dance explosion will be on 27.may! come and support us at sengkang cc at dunno what time. x) i think i shall end here. haha. it's a long post, isnt it? xP 6:24 AM
Saturday, May 20, 2006 reply tags first! HUIYI: since when do u have a SISTER?! theFORGOTTEN: amaths is the easiest subject ever!! and it's the only subject i aced okay. LOL. so how long was it since i last blogged? x( five days passed. let me start with 17may. 17MAY macbeth play! all went well. including sounds and lightings! cos all the AV ppl operated the stuff. we werent allowed to enter. quite sad.. x( so much for getting so stressed. GRR. after school i had dance at 1.30PM and knew of it at only 12.45pm. how pro. and i wanted it to be all cheer day. SHEESH. but went for cheer after dance photo-taking which was after dance. GRR. 18MAY had thinkathon in the morning. haha. it was funny. M.D.R, baytrees, clara, dianaCHAN, fiona, sophia's names were all listed out by lim kim choo. now they're known to all upper sec level ppl! ESP clara and diana. OHH- M.D.R was super funny. HAHA. then dance in the afternoon. it was bad. we had intensive dance practise after laoshi came and den almost everyone had blisters on their feet. all went to get plasters and the sick bay soon ran out of plasters. so we went G.O. and they couldnt give us anymore cos X-country was the next day. sigh.. Ellyn had to give me another one but less than 2 minutes later it came out. and like, the blister burst. dang. 19MAY X-country!!! i RAN. even with my blister. yup. and was happy with my results. x) smiles. i got 34. is that good or what? although im a dancer. haha. dancers CAN run!!! but it'll be impossible for me to get top 20. i shall go train somemore and run better next year!! and den went out with atiqah, clara, maria, roslyn and KARINAthekid. just read maria's blog.. im too lazy to blog anymore.. SEE! i even put a link there... end- i have to go.. haha. sheesh i think im in HUGE trouble. 6:26 AM
Monday, May 15, 2006 another day over. WOO. macbeth play is stressing me up. today we didnt have ANY post exam activities okay. sheesh. all class stuff. had lessons and everything. grah. not fair lor. and chem prac was a disaster. i cut myself. worse, WITH A PIPETTE! and i didnt clean it after that. so yeah, i guess there's still some alkali left in my skin. sigh... oh ya, talking about macbeth play.. sounds and lightings department was deserted. nobody's free. EXCEPT ME. i had dance, but i just had to sacrifice. it gave me a big headache. thank god pamela was there to help me. i fumbled over music + lights! it was bad alright. haiz. i think we're dead. HELP. my hand's hurting! and my head throbbed badly after the rehearsal. yeah. den i went for dance. sadly, i couldnt dance cos of throbbing head. and guess what, it wasn't my fault that i was SOOO late. lao shi just nodded. i know she hates latecomers, but HELLOOOO?! is it even my fault? and i just sat there and watched. i was freezing like mad cos the air con was full blast. i tried to learn the steps but my head hurt so badly! sigh.. kinda sad... x( and i still have like emaths, and amaths homework? plus chemistry file to organise. OHMYGOD. i think im gonna faint now. cant we have more post exam activities? maths homework is gonna kill me!!! sighs heavily.. but nevermind, 17th may is where everything comes together! it's a happy day. macbeth play + photo-taking. Sunday, May 14, 2006 Today's mothers' day!! yay! i gave my mummy a LOVELY present. haha. guess what was it!! i cooked a nice breakfast for her. x) know why? cos im broke. SHEESH. but let me tell you, im proud! she told me the breakfast was nice. so i shall tell u what i prepared: 1.American Breakfast Style - Ham, English Muffins, Scrambled Eggs 2.Drink - COFFEE!!! 3.Desert - Goreng Pisang! [home-made] Sweet isnt it? x) *smiles* yeah but was too tired after that and promptly went back to sleep.. after watching my mummy finish her breakfast. haha. woke up like super early. LOL. like 9am?! nothing much happened today. let's rewind to yesterday... *scrolldown* Saturday, 13MAY. schedule was freaking busy. ARGH. i had things to do from morning to night! oh hectic schedule... -.- morning i had cheer prac at denise's church. [the church of the holy spirits] we couldnt do much cos no radio, and we were hungry. so we decided to go eat our breakfast. hahas. at a PRATA shop. the prata was damn nice. after that, we went back to the church attic to practise. hoho. the radio was there. x) smiles went on teaching the rest who attended the cheer prac the new steps. was fun but OMG it was embarrassing cos i cant dance THAT WELL. sheesh. then i had to rush off when i saw my phone. 11.17am. omg i rushed like heck. the journey to orchard was short and enjoyable.. i guess? from the church i took bus 410 to bishan. then took train. i love bus 410. i dunno why. x) met up with denyse, yan hui and agnes. agnes was supposed to go to some talent scout interview thing. i was afraid it would not be safe for her to go alone, so i went. at the stupid office, yan hui and denyse waited outside. dun ask me. i have no idea why. a few other ppl came in too. the staff asked their names but not agnes'. SHEESH. it must be because of me. i look kid. so i went outside. i told agnes to call me when it's her turn to go in. you see, it's never safe in such dumb strange environment. we had "illegal gathering" outside the office we sat down on the carpeted floor and played dai di. LOL. so funny k. each of us won once each. i was unaware agnes went in. untik i realised, she was already inside.. frantically, i searched for her outside the rooms.. i was eavesdropping to see which room she was in but i couldnt identify. LOL. gave up. went outside to continue "illegal gathering". haha. [for those who dont know, NO MONEY WAS INVOLVED] after the thing, we went to heeren to search for cap. agnes wanted to buy one so she could lend to the cast for macbeth play. after scouting for it for more than an hour, finally found one in momoya. haha. so cool. i commented that yan hui looked guy and she said thank you?! so funny. then agnes and denyse went on to ps to buy scottish cloth while me and yan hui cabbed to jannah's house for macbeth rehearsal. Muahas. it was super fun. we had PIZZA there. then yan hui had difficulty controlling the music with the remote on jannah's audio system. i had to take over. it was freakin' slack la!!! but fun. den jolene was using the foot massger thing, it vibrates madly- her feet went numb after about 15 minutes of the therapy thing.. i think. people took turns to use the com too. and the piano. yan hui taught me part of the turkish march piece. yay it was fun. den i left at about 5.45pm.. den i went for training and it was too late to realise it was cancelled. dang. so me and my tkd friends went to marina square. stayed there until about 10pm? and den came home. was dead tired. so i couldnt blog. haha. -end of yesterday- 6:12 AM
Friday, May 12, 2006 today's VESAK day! everyone, happy vesak day.. x) today i went to a temple in EUNOS. hahas. it was not crowded. not like i had expected. it was pretty empty. it was easy to get to move around. in the praying hall, there were less than 10 ppl praying. [if u ever went to the temple in bugis street, it hink that's quite impossible to see. it's always crowded and flooded with ppl! x)] i prayed! with all my heart and sincerity. that's how it should be. x) SMILES. i hardly ever visit temples.. cos of my busy schedule i guess... ._. hahas. it was memorable. and it RAINED. it's a rare phenomenon. you don't get to see rain on vesak day THAT often, u know. yupps. i wanted to go back to my primary school! but the vesak day celebration was last friday. what the fish kays. GRRR. btw, im from mee toh! the one and only. x) i miss my primary school.. AWW. not cos of the guys. they're irritating and kuku. HAHAS. i didnt go to the new campus [@ punggol] for a long time now. i miss my school. SIGH. i shall return on teacher's day! DEFINTELY. it's a promise! yup. i hope ex mee toh-rians see this and know it's me. OHHH. i lost contact. sigh... =x sad right. anyways, i have a busy schedule tmr! omg it's totally crazy. lemme tell u why. MORNING: cheerleading prac at the church of holy spirits [ near icekimo, opp thomson plaza.] we have been invited to perform! AFTERNOON: probably accompanying agnes with denyse and yan hui to a talent scout interview thing. they have the honour of ME, such a fantastic person, to tag along! im so uninvited.. x( *kinda feeling extra-ed* and of course the MACBETH PLAY REHEARSAL. NIGHT: my usual tkd training.. hahas! yayness finally it's resumed! cos the previous saturday [6april] training was canceled due to the majority of ppl having mid years... x( well yeah that's about it.. haha. eww right. so jam-packed! grrr. 9:49 AM
